Open the CM_Example.cm3 data file.
Set the proportion cut to 0 for all trees.
Run these data using the same environment values as the last problem (the same you have used for quite a while) , the 2005 FBPS Fuel Model Set with litter carrying the fire . Enter the results in the first row of the table below in the No defoliation row. Set the Fraction Remaining In Crown to 20% for foliage, for all Douglas-fir. Rerun the data
again using the same environment values, the 2005 FBPS Fuel Model Set with slash carrying the fire (I know slash is questionable, but use it an yway) and enter in the Defoliation row .
