The Maryland Art Education Association (MAEA) conference will be held at the Fine Arts Building, Towson University, on Friday, October 19, 2007. At the conference, Maryland arts supervisors are provided an opportunity to recognize art teachers from their school system for excellence in their school art programs and dedication to raising student achievement in the visual arts. This display of visual art will be exhibited during the Maryland Art Education Conference at the Towson University Center for the Arts. A recognition ceremony honoring the student artists will be held Friday, October 19, 2007, at 5:30 pm.
