Kristen Missall, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Associate Graduate Faculty. Dr. Missall received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2002 and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Missall conducts research in the areas of literacy and social skill development, school adjustment and general outcome measurement, and has particular interest in the skills and experiences of children transitioning from preschool to kindergarten. She currently teaches courses in intellectual and academic assessment. Lisa Ruble, Ph. D. Associate Professor. Dr. Ruble is a graduate of the Indiana University School Psychology Program. Prior to joining the faculty in Fall, 2007, she was a member of the faculty of the medical school at the University of Louisville. She has special interests in persons with the autism spectrum disorders. She is a licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Counseling Psychology Faculty Keisha Love, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Associate Graduate Faculty. Dr. Love received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2005. Her research interests include attachment relations among diverse populations, family processes/dynamics, career development (particularly among middle school and high school students), and ethnic minority issues. Dr. Love currently teaches Diagnosis and Psychopathology in Counseling Psychology and Individual Assessment of Cognitive Functioning. Her theoretical orientation is a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal relations. Pamela Remer, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Full Graduate Faculty. Dr. Remer received her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Colorado in 1972. Her areas of research interests include factors affecting recovery from rape, effective counseling interventions for women, career decision-making counseling, and effectiveness of counselor responses. Dr. Remer is the Director of the Counseling Psychology Services Clinic located in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology. She is a licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Rory Remer, Ph.D., Professor, Full Graduate Faculty. Dr. Remer received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology and research methodology from the University of Colorado in 1972. His areas of research interests include interpersonal confrontation, prevention-delivery systems, psychodrama, rape perception and prevention, gerontology, and family systems research methodology. He is a licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Jeffrey Reese, Ph.D., Assistant Professor. Dr. Reese joined the faculty in Fall, 2007 having previously been on the faculty at Abilene Christian University. He received his doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Texa A & M University. Sharon Rostosky, Ph.D., AssociateProfessor, Full Graduate Faculty. Dr. Rostosky received her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Tennessee in 1998. Her research and professional issues include adolescent relationships, couples relationships, gender issues, and sexuality. Dr. Rostosky is a licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. |
