Please plan to attend this event which, in addition to an opportunity to meet with your student’s teachers and to set up parent conferences, will include many informational sessions for parents and students. Other grade level information may be located at our school’s website (http://www.oconee.k12.sc.us/whs/) under the “Guidance” link. Seniors and their parents should pay close attention to the senior bulletins that are posted on the website monthly. Students also receive paper copies of these bulletins in their English classes. The Walhalla Student Handbook may be found at our school’s website, and students will go over this information the first days of school. WHS’s Advisement Program is called RAZOR. Teachers serve as RAZOR advisors and provide students with a faculty member who offers assistance and advice related to school matters. As long as a student is promoted, he/she will keep the same RAZOR advisor all four years. These meetings are used to distribute progress reports and report cards, to register students for the next year’s courses, and to cover various other topics. Students’ RAZOR advisors are listed on their schedules under “Period 9.” The WHS PhoneMessenger System |
